The University of Winchester is located close to the centre of the ancient cathedral city of Winchester, an hour away from London in the shadow of the beautiful South Downs.
University Centre
This six and a half million pound, three thousand square metre building was constructed to house the main university reception along with the students union, campus bars and shops.
The Brief
Working closely with Winchester based company The Design Engine Architects our brief was to supply all directional and information signage as well as safety signs and characterisation around the centre. The installation of this project was carried out in 4 stages throughout the build process with the final touches being installed only a few days before the building was officially opened by John Denham MP, Secretary of State for Innovation, Universities and Skills.
